The First Six

Six frames sit in the developer. Exposed, fixed, not yet revealed. They surface here when they are ready.

The waiting list

Be told when the first plate surfaces. Nothing else, ever.

The photograph begins where the noise ends. Everything that survives the dark is deliberate.
The practice Ligiiya shoots in available light, one frame at a time. No sets, no staging, nothing manufactured. Each finished plate is released one at a time, in sequence, and never before it has earned its place.
EditionOne print per plate. 1 of 1, never reprinted.
ProcessPrinted by hand, archival.
